After using more colour than ever before in this beautiful artwork, Scarlett Raven described “Composition and colour [as] the new driving forces in my art; I’m interested in how they create movement through the eyes of the viewer. I live a lot in an imaginary world of colour, and this is my way of understanding geometry and the science of patterns and shapes.” 

Emboldened by life as a new mother, Scarlett Raven has used bolder and brighter colours than she ever has before in this compact yet impactful artwork. The artist was inspired by the birth of her first child, and the imminent arrival of her second, to create a series of paintings that explore the natural world as if through new eyes.

Hand-embellished by our specialist atelier team, this high-quality limited-edition piece is authentic to Scarlett’s celebrated technique of applying paint in thick layers.
