Acclaimed wildlife artist and ambassador Robert Oxley recently left the suburbs of Manchester to live amongst some of Britain’s best examples of nature in the Lake District. Truly inspired by the landscape and its inhabitants, Robert also became aware of the similarities between this national park and the Amazon rainforest that the artist ferociously advocates to protect. Subsequently, he has painted a series of animals, including this panda, that are examples of the conversation technique ‘rewilding’ to champion the essential work of animal conservationists around the world while also using his distinct style to create beautiful artworks that bring the stunning diversity and power of animals into our homes.
