A fusion of their Modern Simplicity Series and Pop Collectio, the Pop Simplicity series explores iconic photographs from mid-20th century Hollywood and the cult of the celebrity through a contemporary lens. By breaking up such recognisable imagery with the brothers’ own coloured “lightwells”, the Warholian notion of an individual lost behind their own image in popular culture is reignited in an unprecedented and beautiful way.
