Created from his of the same name, this stainless steel sculpture by Billy Connolly originates from the artist’s inaugural  collection that has since spawned into eight incredible releases including .

“Some of the drawings just tell you that they would be good as sculptures. They jump from the paper into the three-dimensional. It’s dead obvious once you’ve done it.”- Billy Connolly.

Formed first in clay to capture the detailed lines of his signature style, the sculpture is then cast in stainless steel which relates to Billy’s time as a welder in the shipyards of Glasgow before his rise to fame. Contrast is created between detailed and patterned areas through intricate texture and polishing.
