Inspired by the Yorkshire mill towns that shaped his youth, is known for his ‘Northern Impressionism’ style, and he has continued this with his latest collection bringing us ‘Tiddlers’ and Whacky Racers’. Depicting touching childhood, family and romantic scenes, his nostalgic and charming artworks feature his signature neutral palette of greys with splashes of vibrant colour and a unique inner glow created by the manipulation of light and shadow.

For this duo, the artist manipulated the palette slightly. With the progression of a muted palette, with black and white in transparent glazes to let the muted sepia tones shine through. The artist draws from his own life experiences which adds a new intimacy and dimension to this set of signed limited editions. The pieces included in this set are Hand Varnished Giclée on Canvas.
