Like the Impressionist painters before him, Paul Kenton evokes moods and emotions with his colours, free shapes and dripped lines. In a collection that captures two of the most iconic cities in the world, he continues to define a new genre of cityscape art. This piece is taken from his London/New York series. 

Paul explains: “A rich blue Thames slices through central London, drawing the viewer’s eye into the piece. This painting demonstrates my fascination with using colour to create mood and atmosphere, as I use hues of orange and yellow to capture the city glowing with electric warmth.”
